Christmas and New Year 2016 will be spent teaching in the Caribbean on Saga Shipping's Saga Sapphire. I have also been booked for a Mediterranean and Adriatic cruise on the Arcadia, featuring Italy, Croatia and Greece in June 2015, whilst in October 2015, I shall be on the Oriana for a Spain, Portugal and Atlantic Isles cruise. During the past few months I have had a couple of teaching assignments, doing a Christmas cruise to The Canaries on P&O's Oceana in December 2014, whilst in March 2015 I did another cruise for P&O on their Oriana, to Norway and the Arctic Circle to see the Northern Lights.
I shall be taking part in The Isle of Wight Open Studios again in 2015, when I shall be working and exhibiting at Gurnard Village Hall during the weekend of July 17th,18th and 19th. Some of my work continues to be shown in Green Buoy Arts in Cowes High Street during the summer.
Recent Corporate commissions have included work for Bentota Marine in Dubai, The Neutrik Group - a company based in Liechenstein, whilst a couple of large mural type paintings have been completed for Mydesigns UK, an Architectural, Interior Design and Furnishing Company.
I am also pleased to have had one of my Marine paintings, an oil painting of the Dutch Liner Nieuw Amsterdam, selected for inclusion in the prestigious annual Maritime Artist's Calender for 2016
I shall be exhibiting at the 'Landscape Paintings of The Isle of Wight Exhibition' at East Dene Coach House, Bonchurch Isle of Wight, between Sunday 4th October until Sunday 11th October 2015.
I am pleased to say that my painting of the Nieuw Amsterdam at Southampton has been included in the 2016 Maritime Gallery Calendar - not only that but it is also featured on the front cover. The calendar includes work by some of Britain's finest Marine Artist's, so it is a real honour for me to be included among such great company. Copies of the Calendar can be obtained from calendarclub.co.uk.
I had the pleasure of working with the great Stephen Card on a recent working cruise on the Saga Sapphire to The Caribbean. He was the Artist in Residence and I was the Art Tutor. The photo shows me exchanging paintings with him - he is with my painting of the tug Turmoil, whilst I have his painting of the Cuzco.
My next working cruise is on P&O's Aurora, which I am scheduled to join in Sydney during February for two Far Eastern legs of her 2016 World Cruise.
